England’s Year Four Times Table Assessment

The MTC test in 2023 will occur the week beginning the 6th of June.

The children will be expected to answer 25 questions correctly in 5 minutes, allowing 6 seconds per question. The DFE has said that 6 seconds will show if a child can recite the times tables without working it out in their head and seeks to assess fluency.
